Island Lake drug raid leads to charges
Three Island Lake residents and a Trevor, Wis., woman have been charged after sheriff's police say they found 72 suspected cannabis plants growing inside an Island Lake home.
Authorities from the McHenry County sheriff's office and Illinois State Police served an arrest warrant to Christopher S. Keeton on Friday at a residence in the 4600 block of Pesz Road and after taking him into custody, obtained a warrant to search his residence.
During the search, 72 suspected cannabis plants were found growing with lights and ballasts, along with heroin, trace amounts of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff's office.
Keeton, 43, and Robert W. Roscher, 46, both of the same residence in the 400 block of Pesz Road in Island Lake were charged with unlawful production of cannabis, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Emily L. Andrew, 30, of Trevor, Wis. was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bradley Linnane, 29, who also resides at the Pesz Road address, was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis.
Bail was set at $100,000 for Keeton, $75,000 for Roscher and $7,500 for Andrew.
