Keep racism out of birth certificate flap

In response to John Ostberg’s May 28 Fence Post letter, the president was asked many times about his birth certificate. All he had to do was show it. He brought the controversy on himself by his lack of action.

To now make it into a racial issue is ridiculous. Most people just wanted the proof that he was born in America. I do not think that is an unreasonable request. What is unreasonable is to now say all birthers are racists.
