Blackhawks training camp fest sells out

Tickets for the fourth annual Blackhawks Training Camp Festival are sold out, Chicago Blackhawks announced Tuesday.

The festival, which takes place at the United Center on Sept. 17, will allow ticketholders inside the United Center to watch the Blackhawks first day of on-ice training camp practices and scrimmages. Head coach Joel Quenneville will wear a microphone during the session, and the first 10,000 fans to enter the building will receive a Patrick Sharp bobblehead.

Throughout the day while the Blackhawks are on the ice, broadcasters Eddie Olczyk, Pat Foley, Troy Murray and John Wiedeman will provide an exclusive look behind the scenes with live analysis and player interviews.

Outside, the festival will include a 5K walk/run and 10K inline skate, named “The Mad Dash to Madison,” as well as a three-on-three street hockey tournament, a bags tournament, appearances from Blackhawks Alumni, live music, food and drink and entertainment for fans of all ages.
