Arlington Hts. Picnic in the Park is Friday

Gather your family, neighbors and friends and stop by this year’s Picnic in the Park, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday, June 10, in North School Park, Eastman Street and Arlington Heights Road.

Bring your picnic or buy lunch from a food vendor. All activities are free.

Live entertainment:

Raisin Rhyme, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The group has a unique blend of music and education for the young and young at heart. Every performance consists of a “Rock-n-Roll Supershow” taking place at the Raisin Rhyme Imagination Treetop Stadium, where all children are encourage to sing, dance, shake, wiggle, drum, pat, and jump up and “have a great time!” It’s the first rock show with no height requirement.

AcŸRock, 1-2:30 p.m. Chicago’s premier a cappella rock ‘n roll singing group, combining tightly-crafted music and freewheeling humor that pleases audiences of all ages.
