Service Friday for Batavia senior
A memorial service will be held Friday in Naperville for a Batavia High School senior who was killed in a car crash earlier this week.
The service for Lynlee Gilbert will be held on Friday starting at 4 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 1635 Emerson Lane.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that contributions be made to Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network, or Hope for Tomorrow’s U.S. VETCARE program.
Gilbert was killed in a car crash Monday night near Elburn. Her friend Sarah Ginter remains in critical condition at Delnor Hospital.
