Elgin d. Larkin 20-25, 25-17, 25-22: The Maroons fell in Game 1 but turned it around to sweep the next 2 games from the Royals to win this Upstate Eight Conference rivalry match. Zayya Oshana (5 blocks) and Max Colima (3 blocks) led Elgin’s offensive attack with 17 and 13 kills, respectively. Angel Hernandez chipped in 29 assists while Rejean Washington led the defensive charge with 12 blocks. Mike Flowers (8 kills, 4 blocks), Stephen Dominguez (7 kills, 12 digs), and Dylan Martinez (6 kills, 16 digs) all played solid for the Royals, while Tim Yang and Matt Harris added 13 and 8 assists, respectively.
