Wheaton man arrested for child porn
A 20-year-old Wheaton man was arrested for possession of child pornography, authorities said Friday.
Michael A. Jacob, of the 1700 block of Liberty Drive, was taken into custody Monday at his home following an undercover Internet operation by Wheaton police and the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say no additional details are available.
Jacob was transferred to DuPage County jail, where he remains on $200,000 bond.
If convicted, Jacob would have to register as a sex offender, face a fine of at least $1,000 and a prison sentence of two to five years, Deputy Chief Tom Meloni said.
