Josh Harris (2-for-2, HR) and Richie Gorski (1-for-3, 2 runs, walk) led the way for the Sabres as they each knocked in 2 runs. Larkin 7, Bartlett 2: The Royals (7-5, 2-3) jumped ahead early and held on for the win as they defeated the Hawks in an Upstate Eight game that was moved up a day to try and avoid inclement weather. Miguel Villafane led the way for the Royals as he went 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI. Kyle Newquist (3-for-4, 2B), Drew Shore (2-for-4, RBI), and Pete Lennard (1-for-2, run, RBI) also added quality appearances at the plate to help the Royals. Tyler Farina recorded a double for the Hawks. Austin Royce (3-0) stayed perfect as he pitched a complete-game, scattering 8 hits and 2 walks while striking out five for the Royals.
