Thanks, Wheaton, for your support

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the recent municipal election in Wheaton. I am gratified by the voters’ response and look forward to the challenges for the next four years. The campaign for mayor was an open, fair and free exchange of ideas.

Many thanks to the League of Women Voters, the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Wheaton Association for their sponsorship of candidate forums.

A special thanks to all the individuals who helped me with our election efforts, including those people who walked their neighborhoods, passed literature at the train stations, mailed postcards to friends, wrote letters of endorsement to the media and placed signs in their yards. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
