Don’t raise water rates, lower spending

People of DuPage, it has finely happened. We the people have to pay for the stupidity of the politicians who are now raising our water rates because of their mistakes, spending money they don’t have.

When will the people do something to change it? This year, the rates go up 10 percent, next year they go up 10 percent-plus and they will keep doing this until they have enough money so they can give it away like they did with with the last group of politicians that were in charge.

How many people got a 10 percent raise in pay because your boss spent money stupidly, Raise your hands. I don’t see any hands up.

Instead of raising our rate, let demand they reduce their spending by 25 percent and see how they like it. The time is coming that the people have to make changes because the politician won’t.
