Class 4A Bolingbrook regional final

No. 5 Neuqua Valley (22-7) vs. No. 3 East Aurora (22-5)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Outlook: East Aurora will try to beat Neuqua Valley three straight times in this battle between the Upstate Eight Conference Valley Division champion and runner-up. Neuqua opened the playoffs beating Bolingbrook 52-43, getting usual double-digit scoring by Sam Johnson and Jim Stocki plus outside shooting from Tyler Sutton for a team-high 13 points. East Aurora dispatched Plainfield North 67-54 in its opener without guard Letrell “Snoop” Viser, who is questionable with a sprained ankle. Sure all-stater Ryan Boatright averages 31 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4 steals and 3.5 assists. Look for an early statement by Neuqua post Alex Karkazis.
