Schaumburg's Gifts of the World to host holiday open house

Gifts of the World, 888 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, hosts a Holiday Open House from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 and 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, with samples of fair-trade coffee and Amish peanut butter and fruit spreads. There will be a drawing for a gift basket in December and a free ornament with purchase.

The Gifts of the World store hours during November and December is 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Enjoy over 60 unique Nativities from many countries.

Gifts of the World, sponsored by Christ Community Mennonite Church, is a fair trade store featuring jewelry, purses, toys, wall hangings, home decor, coffee, chocolate, pottery, wood, metal and marble sculptures, artwork, Amish items and more.
