Mt. Prospect police warn residents after series of break-ins
A series of home break-ins on March 16 between Kensington and Northwest Highway in Mount Prospect has police there warning residents to be on the lookout for anything suspicious.
Three residential break-ins occurred in the late afternoon or early evening on Tuesday, March 16, on the 500 block of North Pine, the 400 block of North Elmhurst Avenue and the 0-100 block of North Elm, said crime prevention officer Gregory Sill.
The homes were all forcibly broken into, and approximately $2,000 to $3,000 in cash and jewelry was taken, he said.
