Importance of a stable climate

Interesting how some cannot accept a well-intentioned government ensuring that we all can access health care, but are willing to leave responding to climate changes and related threats to the delicate balance of nature to corporate America whose sole objective is more money for their bottom lines. Why is this such a problem?

A stable climate enables us to grow our food where the rich soil is and where the weather is more predictable and gentle. Our overall ability to survive on this Earth over generations depends on maintaining this delicate balance, this equilibrium we have been enjoying. Disrupting this will eliminate species, perhaps even humans, if not now then in the foreseeable future.
