Wheaton police hunt for two burglars

Wheaton police are looking for two men who broke into a house Thursday afternoon and stole several pieces of property.

Police say the men forced their way through the back door of an unoccupied house on the 1900 block of Martingale Road and fled when the resident returned home. The resident called police and officers searched the area but found no suspects.

The men, who were wearing dark clothing, fled in a white vehicle. Deputy Chief Tom Meloni said no other descriptions of the vehicle or suspects is available.
