Kirk’s questions of Obama are political
Did Congressman Kirk question why President Bush ignored pre-9/11 warnings of bin Laden’s attack on America? Did Congressman Kirk question when President Bush pulled troops out of Afghanistan to invade Iraq, leaving bin Laden free to leave his cave for a mansion in Pakistan?
Did Congressman Kirk ever question why President Bush stopped pursuing bin Laden during his second term? Congressman Kirk never asked any of those questions of Bush, because that president was a Republican.
Why now does Senator Kirk say President Obama owes America and the foreign media proof bin Laden is dead? He wants the White House to produce grizzly photos of a dead bin Laden, photos which could inflame extremists to do harm to Americans here and abroad.
If he is questioning the truthfulness of the commander-in-chief, he is also questioning the truthfulness of the secretary of defense, the director of the CIA, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Navy Seals involved in the mission?
The answer to why Senator Kirk questions President Obama and requests proof of his word is purely political. This president is a Democrat.
