It's Day 13 in NFL, union talks
WASHINGTON — Commissioner Roger Goodell, union executive director DeMaurice Smith and their negotiating teams are at a federal mediator's office for a 13th day of NFL labor talks.
New York Giants owner John Mara and Washington Redskins general manager Bruce Allen are among Tuesday's participants.
The NFL Players Association group includes union president Kevin Mawae and several current or former players, including Colts center Jeff Saturday, Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel and Ravens cornerback Domonique Foxworth.
Top NFLPA outside counsel Jeffrey Kessler is not at the mediator's office Tuesday morning. He also wasn't present Monday, when talks resumed after a break over the weekend.
The collective bargaining agreement expires at the end of Friday, thanks to two extensions.
