Game notes: The Sharks have lost their last two games in shootouts to the Rangers and Vancouver. Antti Niemi has had a big second half and is 26-16-5 with a .918 save percentage. Niemi has defeated his former team three times this year. The Sharks are third in the NHL on the power play behind Vancouver and the Hawks.
