Natural leader is best in Dist. 96

We support Lauren Gordon to be a member of the District 96 Board of Education.

We served on the board with Lauren when she was a PTO President at Ivy Hall Elementary. She is a natural-born leader. Lauren saw a need to ease the transition for new parents, so she implemented an Incoming First Grade Parent Orientation evening. It was so successful that it has become an annual event.

She was also a great advocate for the parents of Ivy Hall during the hiring of our new principal.

When faced with an issue, Lauren does an outstanding job of gathering and evaluating all of the facts objectively. She is an ethical and diplomatic individual who will work collaboratively with members of the board to represent the community.

Lauren will bring fresh ideas to address the education of ALL students in District 96. She is very passionate about the education of our youth and will promote a curriculum that challenges students at every level.

We feel that her background as an educator and an active volunteer makes her the best candidate to serve on our Board of Education.
