Success for Schaumburg debate team

Schaumburg High School’s Debate Team captured first place at the 2010-2011 Illinois Congressional Debate Association Tournament of Champions last month at Wheeling High School. More than 30 schools and 500 students competed, with two Schaumburg High School students emerging as finalists — seniors Elisa Galvan and Aaron Tucek. The school won on an individual level and also earned more points than any other school to be crowned champions.
