Five Guys Burgers coming to Geneva

The popular restaurant Five Guys Burgers and Fries is coming to the Randall Road corridor soon.

The burger spot is expected to open in Geneva in the Geneva Commons mall this summer.

Molly Catalano, director of communications and public affairs for Five Guys, said the targeted opening is June.

The spot will be 2,158 square feet, and employ about 30 to 40 people, Catalano said.

The restaurant is part of a chain.

The first Five Guys opened in Virginia in 1986.

The restaurant then grew, and spread throughout the Virigina and D.C. area.

It has even been visited by President Barack Obama during his time in Washington.

Eventually, Five Guys locations started to spread beyond the D.C. area, and pop up throughout the rest of the country.

This, however, will be the first spot along the Randall Road corridor.

The restaurant, which is of course known for its burgers, also offers hot dogs.

Both can be smothered in many different toppings of your choice.

The restaurant offers dine-in and carryout options.
