A high level of excellence in schools
Please join me in voting for Rosemary Swanson, John Bomher, and Jim Vroman for the Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 school board on April 5. I had the pleasure of getting to know Rosemary and John during our most recent school referendum.
They are people of high integrity and offer excellent leadership. Most importantly, they always put the needs of our students first when making tough decisions. State fiscal problems and the recent recession have caused many school districts to struggle with maintaining high learning standards.
Due to the guidance of people like Rosemary and John, District 200 remains strong with a balanced budget. Jim Vroman will be new to our school board, but he is not new to community service. As a 27-year resident of Wheaton, he has been an active volunteer in our school district, his church, and local non-profits. When Jim recently retired, he decided to dedicate himself further to community service by running for school board.
I believe Jim will also prioritize the needs of our students. My family and I are thankful for people like Rosemary, John and Jim who work tirelessly and without compensation to support our students. Please support them in their bid to continue a high level of excellence for our schools.
