Stevenson excellent at preparing students

Quality public education is not a luxury; it is the duty of a civilized society. Therefore, we are entrusted with the mission of preparing our children for success in an ever-challenging and dynamic global culture. This responsibility transcends politics. Stevenson High School has prepared some of Illinois’ best and brightest in an extremely cost effective manner compared to surrounding high school districts.

Consistently high test scores, comprehensive and creative curriculum, and national recognition for excellence has made the District 125 community in Lake County a top choice for families who seek the best public education for their children.

Our daughter, son, and daughter-in-law all graduated from Stevenson High School, and were extremely well-prepared for success in competitive college environments. Terry Moons, a friend for more than twenty-five years, has served on the Stevenson High School Board of Education for 26 years and is currently a candidate for re-election with the other highly qualified candidates on the United4Stevenson slate.

Her dedication and long-term civic leadership have contributed significantly to Stevenson’s superior reputation, and we as a community must recognize this with a vote in favor of Terry Moons, Merv Roberts, Bruce Lubin, and David Weisberg, the United4Stevenson slate, in the April 5 school board election.
