Cecille still serving Streamwood well

The time has come. The Streamwood Examiner has taken to following the smears of politics.

If they want to endorse someone running for trustee, that is their privilege, however to smear Jim Cecille who has served this community well for a very long time is not only unprofessional but sounds to me like politics as usual as we have seen in higher local and countrywide elections. And I have to say I don’t like it.

I have Known Jim and Maryanne and their family for probably 30 years or so. Jim has had nothing but the very best interests of Streamwood for all of this time. For the Examiner to say that he’s never been the “brightest or best prepared trustee” is an affront to his character and I believe totally false!

How can they say that it’s time for Jim to bid farewell to government? Well, maybe then it time for Ms. Roth who has been our president for many years to also bid farewell? Since when has experience and dedication been a bad thing in government? The Examiner says Jim has been erratic and bizarre? Prove it if you can. I have never known him to be that way. Jim is retired now, and lots of folks would just say they’ve had enough of village politics, but not Jim, he is still willing to do what he can for Streamwood, and I believe he is very able to do just that.
