Friends of Fox River Grove Library to hold book sale

The Friends of the Fox River Grove Memorial Library will hold its Fall Used Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, and Friday, Nov. 4, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. Gently used books, CDs, DVDs, art prints and puzzles will be available for purchase.

Profits from the sale will provide funds toward a $500 scholarship given annually to an area high school student. Any remaining profits will go toward activities and needed items for the Fox River Grove Memorial Library.

Patrons may donate items through Tuesday, Nov. 1, during regular library hours.

Volunteers can sign up at the library’s circulation desk to help sort donations, work the sale or pack up following the end of the sale.

The Fox River Grove Memorial Library, 407 Lincoln Ave., Fox River Grove, is open 9 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and until 4 p.m. Saturday. The library is closed Sunday.
