A brother and sister team accused of peddling heroin in Naperville were taken down Thursday, following a monthlong investigation, police said.

Jermaine N. Moore, 19, of 3149 W. 15th St., Chicago, is charged with felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, a Class X felony, and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.

His sister Kymtika D. Moore, 20, of 3210 W. Douglas Blvd., Chicago, was charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance.

β€œ(Kymtika Moore) drove (Jermaine Moore) out here many, many times,” said Sgt. Gregg Bell. β€œShe was definitely a willing participant in these activities.”

Police said both Moores were arrested Thursday, Feb. 10, with approximately 20 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $4,000 to sell in Naperville.

Both are being held in DuPage County Jail awaiting bond hearings.
