Moment of silence far from golden
It has come to my attention that Bartlett High School has picked up a 15-second “moment of silence” every morning. As a former student of Bartlett High School and a politically involved individual, I find this absolutely disgusting. I know that Bartlett is a relatively conservative and Christian town; however, Bartlett High is a public school. Our Founding Fathers came to America in search of religious freedom and created our country based on the principle of separation between church and state. This is a blatant attempt to bring prayer into our public schools. Something must be done.
