Chris Stewart, acquired in the blockbuster trade with Colorado that sent defenseman Erik Johnson to the Avs, had 2 goals in his debut. In the last week the Blues have traded defensemen Johnson and captain Eric Brewer (to Tampa Bay). The Blues are without goalie Jaroslav Halak (hand).
