Free homebuyer fair in West Chicago:

The city of West Chicago, in partnership with the DuPage Homeownership Center and Illinois Housing Development Authority, is holding a free homebuyer fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 at Community High School, 326 Joliet Street.

The fair will offer workshops on homebuyer programs available, such as FHA 203k and IHDA’s downpayment assistance programs; the importance of credit in obtaining a mortgage, and the benefits of living in West Chicago.
