Dist. 220 hires asst. superintendent
Barrington Unit District 220 has hired Teresa Hill, an assistant superintendent in Bloomington, Ill., as its next assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction.
Hill will succeed the retiring Louise Robb this summer.
Since July 2006, Hill has provided leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, intervention, accountability, data-based school and district improvement planning and professional development for the 5,400-student School District 87 in the Bloomington-Normal area.
In 2010, Hill was recognized by Phi Delta Kappa International as an emerging leader in public education, according to a District 220 release.
