We need a new breed of Democrat

It's two years until the Republicans overextend themselves again. It's hard to give up Biblical trickledown, gay-baiting Second Amendment ideology.

The real question is going to be how the Democrats react. If the last two years of weak-kneed, give-it-up-so-we-look-like-good-guys response is a guide, the Green Party might as well get ready to rise as the second party. It is time for Democrats to start demanding discipline. Let's dump the incompetent jamokes that ran things with a majority in both houses. Are you listening Dick Durbin? In the W years they got everything they wanted with one vote majority, you had 60, mostly 59 sure. What happened?

Democrats should withhold money and other support until we see a backbone. If the Republicans stay in power so be it, until a new breed of Democrat steps forward. Always remember the Republicans will trip on their own feet in time,
