Medal of Honor recipient speaks Tuesday in Arlington Hts.

Medal of Honor recipient Allen James Lynch will speak about his military experience in Vietnam at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Wheeling Township Center, 1616 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.

The Medal of Honor is the United States military's highest decoration for gallantry and action at the risk of life, above and beyond the call of duty. American Legion Post 208 will serve as color guard. Lynch is speaking to the Wheeling Township Senior Advisory and Action Council, but all are welcome to attend.
