Palatine library to host used book sale

The Winter Used Book Sale at the Palatine Public Library will be held Feb. 18-20.

Sale hours: 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, Friends members, no charge, nonmembers $5; 9:30-3 p.m. Saturday Feb. 19, free admission; and 12:30-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20 with free admission. Sunday is bargain day. Prices are reduced.

The Friends Group thanks you for continuing to make donations of books, CDs, DVDs and related materials.

All proceeds benefit the Palatine Public Library (847) 358-5881).

The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program at the library and has donated funds for new furniture and the Blu-ray collection. Membership forms to join the Friends of the Palatine Public Library are available at the Information Desk. Single or family membership is $10 per year.

Book Drop-Off is the last Saturday of every mouth, 9:15 a.m.-noon.
