Thieves hit 13 cars in Wheaton
Wheaton police say thieves stole items from 13 cars in the same area on the evening of Dec. 31 and the morning of Jan. 1.
The thefts centered around the neighborhood just east of President Street and north of Roosevelt Road. Police say the cars all were unlocked and the stolen property included money, computers, credit cards, GPS devices and tools.
