I am very concerned with the lack of social services, and would like to bring valuable resources to our struggling residents.Questions Answers What makes you the best candidate for the job?I believe that public service is a privilege and would like the opportunity to help my community.Given the delicate balance between the need for revenue and over-taxing local businesses, what is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I feel that it is wrong that the state is forcing our local businesses to pay for their mismanagement.Talking with your friends and neighbors, what seems to be their biggest public safety concern? Explain the concern as you see it, and discuss how you think it should be addressed.The biggest concern in any community is the safety of our children. I believe we should live in a community where we do not have to worry about our children playing outside. I would like to see an official neighborhood watch program started.In these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized. Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I have not seen the current Village budget.I look forward to reviewing it and making responsible decisions.What#146;s one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?To implement a variety of social service programs that all ages can be involved in.
