Fundraiser in Island Lake on Saturday

Island Lake officials will hold a bowling fundraiser to pay for the Independence Day fireworks show on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 3D Bowl, 4018 Roberts Road. Sign-in starts at 7 p.m., and bowling begins an hour later.

Participation will cost $25 per person and is limited to people at least 18 years old. A silent auction is planned, too.
