Deerfield nips Stevenson
Deerfield 3, Stevenson 2: At Highland Park, the 15th-seeded Warriors stunned the No. 2 seed in the teams’ Class 4A regional semifinal.
Stevenson, which won its second straight North Suburban Conference championship, finished 25-5.
Deerfield, which beat Grant in a play-in game, advances to the regional final and will play either No. 7 St. Viator or No. 11 Highland Park.
