Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation hosts 'Totally Rad' bunco night
On Saturday, Jan. 12, participants braved the snowy roads for the Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation's 1980s themed bunco event, "Totally Rad Bunco."
Volunteers and many attendees dressed in neon colors, big hair, pumps, and legwarmers, listened to tunes from the decade, and nibbled on refreshments from Enticing Cuisine and Nothing Bundt Cakes or flashback snacks like candy necklaces and ring pops.
Raffles and mini games accompanied the main bunco event as well.
The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation would like to thank all of the donors, participants and sponsors, especially Apollo Investment and A.R. Bohr Roofing LLC. The money raised from this event, as well as all of the foundation's events, are disbursed in May to local charities and educational organizations serving women, children, and families.
The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation accepts applications for disbursements that fulfill the foundation's mission until March 15 of each current year. They had a wonderful time at this year's Bunco, and hope that you will join them next year!
The Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, founded in 1934, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in the Fox Valley area.
