Libertyville church changes their name

Libertyville, IL (November 9, 2012) – The Evangelical Free Church of Libertyville announces it is changing its name to CrossLife, effective December 1, 2012. The new name is expected to more clearly communicate the identity of the church which has been an integral part of the Libertyville community since 1953.

“Our new name reflects the core of who we are. We are people who recognize that the cross of Jesus Christ is what provides us with new life. We are people whose lives are shaped by the cross,” said Senior Pastor, Steve Mathewson.

In addition to a new name the church will be adding a second service on Sunday mornings at 10:45. CrossLife will continue to be affiliated with the Evangelical Free Churches of America.
