Expanding software maker Lemko moves from Schaumburg to Itasca
Lemko Corp., a global software maker for the mobile wireless network, has moved its corporate headquarters from Schaumburg to Itasca to accommodate its growth.
The company signed a long-term lease for 22,347 square feet at One Pierce Place in Itasca after outgrowing its previous space at 1700 E. Golf Road in Schaumburg. The new lease also provides the company an opportunity to expand into contiguous space within the same building over the next several years.
“We are delighted to share our seven-year history of providing lifesaving cellular capabilities such as supporting the U.S. Army during Hurricane Katrina operations and helping recover the cellular services after the devastating 2008 China earthquake,” said Lemko’s CEO Nicholas Labun. “We’re very proud that our solution is helping connect people in isolated places like First Nations tribes in northern Canada and ‘Deadliest Catch’ fishing villages in the Aleutian Islands. Lemko’s technology is truly changing people’s lives.”
Jim Rose, Gregg Raus and Mark Kolar from the commercial real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle represented Lemko in its negotiations.
