Healthy food presentation at Arlington Hts. church

Chef Dave Esau of Dave’s Specialty Foods in Mount Prospect will be the keynote presenter at the Healthy Food for Healthy Living symposium to be held 6:30-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Before and after the 7 p.m. keynote presentation, representatives from several local food stores, health organizations, and farms will be available to discuss healthy foods informally and to answer questions. There will be food art for children, videos and books to review, and free handouts about healthy eating and food safety. Fair Trade coffee and tea will be available to purchase. This event is designed for the entire family. Admission is free and open to all. Please RSVP so Chef Dave can have enough samples for all. Register at oursaviours.org.
