Mt. Prospect concert series ends season with rock show

This year’s Fridays on the Green concert series in downtown Mount Prospect comes to an end with a performance by the Committee Band, which plays popular funk, rock and blues tunes, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept, 21, in front of village hall, 50 S. Emerson St.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, and to have a meal at a local restaurant before or after the show. The free concert will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.
