Voters shouldn't have to pick a party
Can anyone tell me why we have to chose a party to vote in the primary?
There are good people on both sides that I would vote for, but it seems that I have to chose which party has the most that I like, therefore leaving the other parties candidates that I like without my vote.
This needs to be fixed.
Why can't one ballot be printed, with everyone's name and party affiliation on it, and let us chose?
This could even be less costly than printing three ballots and certainly less confusing for the judges who have to ask party affiliation, and be sure they give out the correct ballot.
Everyone wants the Republicans and Democrats to work together, but we have no voice in choosing either parties candidates in a primary election.
To me this means that we are not being fair to all the candidates, and those that chose to split their votes are not given that opportunity at the primaries.
