Mt. Prospect firefighters hold open house

The Mount Prospect Fire Department will host its 19th annual Open House, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Police and Fire Headquarters building, 112 E. Northwest Hwy. Open houses provide residents the chance to see fire department activities, apparatus and operations up close, and allow residents an opportunity to ask questions and talk with Mount Prospect Fire Department personnel. Fire prevention activities, demonstrations and information for all age groups will be available. A hot dog lunch will be provided by the Kiwanis Club of Mount Prospect.
