Stevenson student honored for writing

Stevenson High School junior Andelyn Russell’s essay “My Own Invitation” has earned honorable mention honors in this year’s Illinois Association of Teachers of English prose competition, the Lincolnshire school announced. Her essay was part of the junior Advanced Placement English self-designed essay unit at the school.
