Coaching clinic at St. Charles North High

A coaching clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at St. Charles North High School main gym, 255 Red Gate Road. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.

The clinic is meant for area coaches and parents for any coaching level or age that are interested in learning coaching drills, techniques and strategies from North Star head coach Todd Genke, his staff and senior baseball players at St. Charles North.

Clinic topics will include effective practice management, drills and skills development, preparing a team for the season, pitcher and catcher preparation, and game strategy. Attendees should bring a notepad and pen. Handout materials will be provided.

Instruction will be geared toward training the coach and is not intended to be attended by youth players.
