Good coverage of state senate races

I want to thank the reporters who wrote the articles about the Illinois senate candidates before the election. They were long enough to give helpful details about what each had done and how they got to the place of being senate candidates. The articles were not judging but rather candid and interesting.

I would like to see more of that kind of reporting. I was very undecided before reading these articles. I was completely turned off by the campaigning and quite frankly refused to read or listen to any of it. At the same time I felt the election was very important.
