Take in classic car show in Vernon Hills

A pre-1975 car show will take place from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at the Vernon Hills T.G.I. Friday’s, 151 E. Townline Road, Vernon Hills. The event is free.

There will be more than 30 classic cars competing for the top prize. Draft beer and frozen margaritas will be served outdoors for those of age.

All attendees to the car show will receive a 20 percent discount off their entire bill if they so choose to dine at T.G.I. Friday’s.
