Don’t eliminate health care law

I just don’t get it. Republicans are wasting our time and money trying to overturn the Affordable Care Act. Any way they can obstruct, they will.

They have no idea or choose not to care what a difference this bill has already made in many people’s lives. My family is no exception. My son has not had health insurance since he turned 18 years old. Today he does and it is because of this bill.

I am so disillusioned by this current Congress. They even refuse to listen to their own budget office that has assured them that in the long run this bill will save us money. Rather than wanting to empower us — the people who gave them their jobs — they want to again empower the insurance companies, making them richer and us sicker.

Why is that better for the country? Like I said, I just don’t get it. Do you?
