Rummage sale expanded

St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church, 236 Route 45, Indian Creek/Vernon Hills, has expanded its rummage sale to two days. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 13 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14. Items in two huge rooms will be offered at half price from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds go toward the new ground level, handicap accessible Sharing Hands food pantry and the newly renovated kitchen, which is used weekly during the season to feed PADS guests.
